The human body is not meant to sit for long durations. After 20 minutes of sitting, up to 70% of the nutrient rich spinal fluid stored between discs is lost. Overtime, the loss of fluid leads to damage. That is why the Ergo M is designed with the proprietary RECARO “S” shaped seat-back and other support, comfort and adjustment features. Combined these features properly position a driver and provide them the support they need. The RECARO Ergo M helps drivers keep their mind on the road, rather than their aching back.

    Q: Can a RECARO seat be built into vehicles with a factory-fitted seat belt pretensioner?

    Currently, commercial vehicles that use seat belt pretensioners cannot be retrofitted with RECARO seats. Please check if your vehicle is equipped with a seat belt pretensioner before purchasing a RECARO seat.
