Step 1:Adjust height by pushing the height adjustment switch. When your legs are in the normal position, the thighs should rest comfortably on the seat cushion. The seat height is properly adjusted when the pedals can be pushed all the way to the floor without excess pressure on the thighs.
Step 2:Adjust the distance of the seat from the pedals/steering wheel. The buttocks should be pressed firmly against the backrest. Move the seat until the pedals can be comfortably pushed to the floor. Your shoulders should be supported by the backrest with the elbows bent slightly when both hands are on the steering wheel.
Step 3:The tilt of the seat should be adjusted so the thighs are supported when the pedals are pushed all the way to the floor. The thighs should rest against the seat surface without too much pressure. Adjust by releasing seat cushion rake adjustment.
Step 4:Adjust the seat thigh extension so the thighs are in contact with the seat almost to the back of the knees. The distance between the edge of the seat and the back of the knees should be about two or three fingers wide. Slightly lift your legs and pull out on the thigh extension.
Step 5:Press your shoulders firmly against the back of the seat and adjust the incline of the backrest so your arms are slightly bent at the elbow when both hands are on the steering wheel.
Turn the recline handle.
Step 6:RECARO Automotive offers three individual adjustments.
Adjust the lumbar bags to avoid a rounded back posture. The spinal column should be supported in its natural position.
Step 7:The upper edge of the headrest should be aligned with the top of the head. Adjust the angle so the distance between the headrest and the head is about one inch.
Step 8:The ride-ability of the seat can be adjusted to fit your personal needs. Adjust the shock for preferred ride comfort.
Adjustment knob located on the left-hand side of the seat.
