MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (M/W/D)

 RECARO Automotive has been setting standards in the field of mobile seating for decades: we created the first sports seat for automobiles that can be retrofitted, the lightest vehicle seat in the world and new sports seats in a modern composite design. Numerous automobile manufacturers rely on seats from RECARO Automotive. In addition, we serve end customers with retrofit seats and motorsport enthusiasts with racing shells via the specialist trade. RECARO Automotive is a medium-sized company - with lean structures, short decision-making processes and fascinating products. 

Your
TASKS.

  • Lead Manufacturing team in the launching of new and transfer programs in the facility - including monitoring schedules, costing new products, overseeing line and station design
  • Perform process and material flow analysis; Develop manufacturing process techniques and equipment on new programs to improve existing productivity
  • Specification, installation, and implementation of plant machinery, tooling, and equipment
  • Responsibility for APQP documentation
  • Support of new programs with plant program managers
  • Responsibility for creating and maintaining all ODS sheets, PFMEAs and PM sheets for all products
  • Responsibility for program reviews and managing CAR budgets

 

Your
PROFILE.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Willingness to take on tasks outside of customary responsibilities and a positive attitude
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Understanding of dealing with customers/Internal & External (Program Managers, QE’s, other departments...)
  • Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
  • Good Decision Maker
