RECARO in Toyota Motorsport’s TMG EV P002

This Sunday, 12th August, the TMG EV P002 equipped with high-performance electric drive technology is taking part in one of North America’s most demanding motorsport events, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The hill race begins at 2,800 metres above sea level and ends at an altitude of 4,300 metres. Behind the wheel will be many times world rally champion Fumio Nutahara of Japan. The car has a predicted top speed of 240 km/h. And one other thing, of course, that it cannot go without – professional racing seats from RECARO. Last year, the TMG EV P001, which is licensed for use on public roads, already succeeded in setting an electrically powered lap record on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife. That record remains unbeaten to this day.
