World Time Attack Challenge 2011 with RECARO

RECARO participated at the World Time Attack Challenge event as Class Sponsor for the Clubsprint Class together with Racer Industries who has been appointed as official importer for RECARO racing shells in Australia earlier in 2011. Racer Industries is a renowned supplier of specialist parts and services to the motorsport industry in Australia and international distributor of Project-MU motorsport brake products. During both days the RECARO display area was continuously crowded as many visitors showed great interests in the RECARO racing shells and were very happy being able to sit on them and try different kind of racing shells. Time Attack originated in Japan as a proving ground for street-tuned cars built by highly respected tuning companies. With a quick rise in popularity, the event became well-known and tuner shops started developing race cars purpose-built for the event. Cars are required to wear tires authorized for road use and drivers are allocated three laps in a final event run; warm-up, timed and cool-down. The fastest lap on the day wins. The simplicity of rules and a focus on lap times made Time Attack the quickest growing form of motorsport world-wide.
