Since September 15, 2015, the Frankfurt trade fair grounds have been entirely devoted to the topic of mobility. Right from the opening day, it looks as if the IAA Cars, now in its 66th edition, will once again live up to its outstanding reputation as the world’s most important trade fair for all things automobile. Trade journalists have traveled to Frankfurt from around the world to report on the latest trends and debuts. At the stand of Johnson Controls and RECARO Automotive Seating (B24 in Hall 5.1), our innovative solutions to the three big topics of the future – lightweight design, individualization and autonomous driving – attracted the interest of numerous journalists on both press days (September 15 and 16, 2015). Among the highlights were the production-ready RECARO Sport Seat Platform (RSSP) which impressed visitors with its light weight and exceptional customizability. Particularly popular was also the look back at 50 years of RECARO Sport Seat history, with the four exhibited milestones quickly proving a favorite subject for photographers. But the RECARO stand is not the only place where fans of the brand will find things to discover. Anyone who wants to experience our RECARO seats in action can check out the premium models of our OEM customers. In addition to the new Audi R8 (IAA open air section), the must-sees also include the Mercedes AMG C 63 Coupé (Hall 2), the new Mazda MX-5 and the Ford Focus RS (both Hall 9). We look forward to greeting trade visitors on Thursday, September 17, 2015 and Friday, September 18, 2015, before the IAA opens on the coming weekend to the general public.
