INCREDIBLE DEBUT FOR RECARO IN DETROIT

The premiere of RECARO Automotive Seating at this year’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit was a great success for the team of RECARO North America. For the first time, RECARO Automotive Seating presented its products at the most important trade fair for the automotive industry in the US, which ran from January 12 to 25 in the Motor City. What made it special: RECARO introduced its products on a specially designed area of ​​27 square meters within the booth of Johnson Controls. The focus was on the RECARO Sport Seat Platform. The modular seating concept is now to be marketed in the United States after the European premiere in 2013. “The aspiration to give our visitors insight into our new seating concept is something that we have taken literally, with a focus on a half-section model of the Sport Seat Platform,” says Lisa Caleca, Marketing Manager in the USA. Other eye-catchers were premium seats, which are to be installed in upcoming US cars like the Cadillac ATS-V. Moreover, visitors to the booth had the opportunity to take a seat in the luxurious composite seat models that RECARO supplies for the European models of Mercedes-AMG A45 and CLA.
