IAA Commercial Vehicles 2014: Customization concept with Saddle leather for Western fans

With a premium exhibit piece at the IAA, RECARO is showing what is possible with commercial vehicle seats in terms of customization: The “Western-style” seat concept is a one-of-a-kind seat based on the premium model RECARO C 7000 and is furnished with an exclusive cover made of saddle leather. With this individual exhibit, the seat specialist wants to survey the reactions of visitors to the optional equipment variants. The dream seat for all “real” truckers can be admired at booth C 12 in Hall 16. At the RECARO booth the “Western-style” seat serves as a focal point and is stylishly presented in a special area with matching Wild West atmosphere. The customization concept is based on the well-known RECARO Model C 7000 for the commercial vehicle aftermarket. A specialist in handcrafted Western saddles provided the premium seat with an exclusive cover from a variety of hand-selected leathers. Distinctive ostrich leather was used over a large area of the seat and backrest. As a special style element, the saddler also integrated areas with elaborately embossed Western motifs on the cover.
