The Gamescom 2013: Lap time bests with RECARO seats At Cologne’s Gamescom, the trade fair for video and computer games held from August 21 to 25, 2013, and the world’s largest by exhibition area and visitor numbers, many new racing games tempted gamers to make their first test runs. The Sony stand was in especially high demand – this was where the much-anticipated Playstation blockbusters “Gran Turismo 6” (PS3) and “Drive Club” for the upcoming PS4 could be tried out in high style. And, fitting for games featuring elite cars, the seats in the driving simulators at the Gamescom were also equipped with nothing but the best. At the trade fair’s many driving contests, participants set off on their hunt for the best lap time in an authentic RECARO Pole Position racing shell. RECARO seats were also Sony’s first choice for the games’ trailers.
