For fans of American sports cars, “Z28” has always had a very special ring to it. The simple designation has stood for sportiness and powerful performance ever since General Motors began manufacturing the legendary Chevrolet Camaro. Now, after a hiatus of several years, Chevrolet has added a new chapter to the Z28 story, one that began in the 1960s. Unveiled at the New York Auto Show in late March and slated to be market launched in the U.S. in the second half of the year, the new 500-horse-power Camaro Z28 is a high-performance sports car tailor-made for the racetrack. It is an honor for us to announce that the V8 Power Chevy will be standard-equipped with Recaro sport seats. The new Z28 seats from Recaro provide excellent lateral stability and maximum safety on both the road and the racetrack. Recaro design engineers have also afforded driver and passenger top-shelf ergonomics by ingeniously sculpting and cushioning the seat for excellent lumbar support and second-to-none long-distance comfort. All of these benefits of the premium Recaro sport seat will also be optionally available to owners of the Camaro SS and the Camaro ZL1, the other versions of the sporty Chevy.
