From 22nd to 23rd March the Retro Classics Show took place at the Stuttgart Messe. At the Recaro Group stand numerous former employees met up – among them rallying legend Walter Röhrl, who did not miss the opportunity to drop by, as he has been driving safely and successfully for 40 years in Recaro seats. A particular highlight of the Recaro Group stand was a Porsche 356. This was one of the first 500 Porsche cars produced in Germany. Today there are only 50 of these rare vehicles left in the world. The car was built in 1951 at the Reutter works on Augustenstrasse, the subsequent company headquarters of Recaro. More: www.roehrl-walter.de
