Global companies RECARO Automotive Seating and Ford have successfully collaborated for over 50 years in a partnership that is second to none. Devoted Ford fans are immediately reminded of the popular Ford Capri MKIII from 1978 or the legendary Ford Mustang Boss. It goes without saying that both cult vehicles were available with sporty RECARO seats as standard or optional equipment. Naturally, the same is now true of the Ford Focus ST and the new Ford Fiesta ST, to be launched in 2017. “To show our appreciation to the fans of the Ford ST models, we, along with our longtime partner, Ford of Europe, have added a special cherry on top,” says Markus Kussmaul, executive director of the Adient specialty seating group, who is also in charge of the worldwide business of RECARO Performance Car Seating.
