RECARO JAPAN HITS A HOME RUN

Motor sports are not the only athletic arena that RECARO contends in. And now, this tale of triumph in the stadiums of the world is one chapter longer: The Japanese baseball team Fukuoka Softbank Hawks has ordered 80 RECARO LX-F seats, which are available only in Japan, to provide some of its guests with very special seating. “This is a first,” said Mitsuhiro Maeguchi, Marketing Manager at RECARO Automotive Seating Japan. “In the Asian region, we already equip a baseball team, three soccer teams and a futsal team with our seats. But up until now, they were reserved exclusively for coaches and players. The Fukuoka Dome of the Hawks is the first stadium we’ve ever furnished with a number of seats for the spectator stands.” It’s a great success for RECARO Automotive Seating in Japan, since baseball is one of the country’s most popular sports of all, with two professional leagues and the yearly Japan Series drawing considerable attention from spectators and the media. “The Fukuoka Softbank Hawks are the perfect partner for us,” said Maeguchi. “They’ve already won the Japan Series seven times, which puts them at the top tier of Japanese baseball. We hope to continue this fruitful collaboration in the coming years—and, of course, to convince more teams of the benefits of our seats for their supporters.”
