European Truck Racing Championship 2015: Successful team Truck Sport Bernau relies on Ellen Lohr

Great news from the Grande Dame of German motorsport: RECARO brand ambassador Ellen Lohr will compete in the upcoming season of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship for Truck Sport Bernau, the winner of the team championship 2014. Last year Lohr was already five times among the top 10 finishers for the young French team JRT, and in the coming season the racing legend wants to make it all the way to the top. The crew of team boss Lutz Bernau is offering her the best opportunities to do this: “This is an opportunity I could not pass up,” says Lohr. “With team Bernau, I can draw on the combined experience of more than 30 years in truck racing.” On the side of teammate Antonio Albacete, Lohr will be on the hunt for podium finishes from April to October 2015. The racing calendar will again be taking the team across Europe: After the first race in Valencia, Spain, in late April, the team will be continuing on to Italy, France, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. Highlights for Lohr and her fans in the German-speaking world are the races in Spielberg, Austria, in May and especially the “home game”: the legendary Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring in June. The season ends in October on the famous circuit of Le Mans. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Ellen!
