RECARO stadium seats at the Stuttgarter Kickers

The traditional Swabian soccer club Stuttgarter Kickers is launching into a new era: After 10 months of construction, the completely renovated, enlarged stadium of the German third-division team will be inaugurated on February 21, 2015, with a home game. The coaches and players waiting on the sidelines will naturally be seated on brand-new stadium seats. It is an honor that the ambitious club will be relying here on seats from RECARO. These are of course upholstered in the club color of blue and have the club logo and the RECARO logo in white on the backrest. “The stadium looks great and we are really looking forward to when we will be able to compete again at our old home ground,” said Kickers coach Horst Steffen on Wednesday afternoon after the first and only training session at the stadium. Steffen was particularly impressed by the new trainer benches from RECARO. “The trainer bench is super comfortable, and the chairs look absolutely fit for the first division. I’m going to sit down in the future more often than in the past,” Steffen joked during the press conference for the stadium opening, which was held near the stadium on the premises of RECARO Holding. “We are extremely pleased that the traditional club Stuttgarter Kickers is using a trainer bench with seats from our company. The Kickers are now among the select group of some 100 top teams in the world who rely on RECARO seats,” replied Dr. Christian Debus, Vice President and General Manager for the global car seat business of Recaro Automotive Seating.
