Fiesta ST launches with RECARO seats

Now that production on the new Ford Fiesta ST has begun, “ST” is a sure sign that RECARO is inside. Following the introduction of its big brother, the Focus ST, now this sporty top model of the compact Fiesta is also coming off the production line equipped with RECARO’s sporty and ergonomic seats. “It was Ford’s goal to make the Fiesta ST the top-performing vehicle in its class,” says Horst Eller, who is responsible for the Ford account at RECARO. “With its elaborately designed chassis and 180-horsepower engine, this vehicle starts off with an impressive set of specifications. Our seats offer drivers of the new ST maximum integration in the car, thus allowing them to make full use of its performance – perfect conditions for pure driving enjoyment.” The Fiesta ST follows close behind the Focus ST: its performance figures (0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 versus 6.5 seconds) and the quality of the seats are both comparable, since the high-quality RECARO seats in both models differ only in a few minor details. Anyone who is interested in the ST models will have a hard time deciding which options to choose, since the RECARO seats for the Fiesta ST are available in two versions: a basic seat with gray fabric, and a premium seat with partial leather upholstery in a two-tone design with two color choices, including insets made of a special ST structured fabric on the seat cushion (see photo).
