For the engineers involved in the development of the 911 Cup vehicle, driver safety was once again of prime importance. Drivers are protected by both a specially designed safety cage and by a RECARO racing shell seat that has added support for the head and shoulders. The seat can be adjusted to perfectly fit the driver's body shape using special replaceable pads. The fore-aft adjustment helps to find the right pole position for every driver – ideal for races with driver changes. The 911 GT3 Cup is the most popular racing car in the world in terms of units produced and sold: over 2,600 since 1998.
