Two important companions in Victor Smolski's life are music and racing. He works with full passion in both areas.
Victor Smolski is a musician, producer, composer, teacher and author of many books and educational DVDs. As a musician he was in the German heavy metal band “RAGE” from 1999 to 2015, today he is part of the band “ALMANAC”. He was also a member of the jury at various international music competitions. One of his greatest successes brought him his self-composed song “Straight to Hell”, which became known as the theme music for “Der Schuh des Manitu”, a very successful German film.
Despite his successful music career, racing should not be neglected for him, and safety is very important to him! “When you talk about safety in motorsport, it all starts for me with the right racing seat and RECARO is my first choice. Unfortunately, I've experienced accidents in my own racing career and I'm glad that nothing happened and that I can continue to be on stage. Only when you experience something like this, you can appreciate safety. But what I really appreciate about the RECARO seats, besides the safety, is the fantastic seating position, which gives the driver perfect feedback from the car and the track, allowing him to drive every drift angle even more precisely ”, says the musician and racing driver Victor. Among other things, two runner-up titles in the Supercars division in the German Rallycross Championship, 17 class wins at the Nürburgring / Hockenheimring / Spa-Francochamps and 11 participations in the legendary 24-hour race at the Nürburgring are rank among his starts in motorsport.
Since 1906 we never stop searching for something new and are continually breaking new grounds. RECARO products are at the cutting-edge of technology.
We believe in the superior quality and masterly craftsmanship of our products and carefully select only the most precious and top-notch materials for our seats.
At RECARO, driver protection is about more than just giving you the impression you’re in safe hands. It’s our utmost priority.
