Its very special nature is hard to overlook in traffic. Owned by Autohof Strohofer and Spedition Wolf GmbH, the new Geiselwind show truck is now being deployed to promote the popular amusement park of the same name, which surrounds the giant Strohofer truck stop on Autobahn A 3, east of Würzburg. Since there’s always something playing at the Geiselwind event hall and show grounds, the truck’s design features musical and festive imagery. The traditional highlight there during the Pentecost holiday is the highly popular Trucker & Country Festival, which attracts several thousand visitors. The complex airbrush design that envelopes the new Mercedes Actros truck stylishly incorporates sponsors’ logos. Among these is the RECARO logo, which can be found at two premium locations: on the show truck’s tail and on the driver’s door. The latter location is particularly fitting, since the driver naturally has the pleasure of sitting in a new RECARO C 7000 seat. “In the coming years, this Actros show truck will prominently appear at numerous trucker events and festivals, and function as a giant billboard on wheels,” explains Manfred Nickels, Senior Manager Marketing at RECARO Automotive Seating. “Of course, it will also be on the road around the clock. In other words, for RECARO it’s an advertising space that’s both unusual and highly attractive.”
